About

Tatiana Cheremisinova was born in Moscow. She graduated from Studio of the Creative Sculpture by Oleg Yanovsky, professor of the High School of Art. After graduation she took part in exhibitions in Moscow.

After finishing at Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (specialized in architecture) Tatiana moved to St. Petersburg and worked in a few architectural studios. At the same time she created a series of color graphic techniques in oil pastels. She also took part in exhibitions of the independent artists of St. Petersburg.

Since 2007, Tatiana lives in Canada (Toronto), where she invented a new graphic technique of drawing with ink pen. These works are made on paper by colored acrylic ink through the application of multiple layers of the ink.

The first exhibition of graphic works by Tatiana Cheremisinova took place in «Bezpala-Brown Gallery” (Toronto) in 2010.

The heroes and symbols in Tatiana’s work often carry an allegoric character. According to Yelena Malyavina, a member of the International Association of Art Critics works of Cheremisinova “gives away her enviable temperament, her live and nature. In her major imaginations are both the dynamics of play, and an intricate theatrical action. And, nevertheless, by distinguishing accuracy of details, we see how the author develops plastic ideas in compositions.”

Original technique, semantic content and energy drawing linears were noted in the central newspaper of Canada “The Globe and Mail” article of Dec 17, 2010.

Tatiana participated in exhibitions in Toronto and Montreal. Her drawings are now in the private collections in the Russia, the UK, Switzerland, USA and Canada.

Her work “Tango of Death”, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Nuremberg trials, is in the collection of the Russian Embassy in Canada.
